It looks really nice!
The black lines suck though. What I like to do for nature backgrounds is get the fill of the object, and make the outline like 4-10 shades darker. It comes out really nicely.
If this is a trailer, it doesn't give much information. I have no clue what this is about. If you do anymore trailers, try to make it give a just enough information about the characters and what is going to happen to make the viewer want to see the rest.

Where to begin?
The animation wasn't that bad, but the sounds were. When the bird flew over, it was too loud when it was far away. Also, when the fish ate the guy, there was a whole mess of static.
Pretty adequet.
One thing that caught my eye was that Yoshi's right arm wasn't attached to his body @ the start of the animation when he bangs on the keyboard.
Besides that, it was a pretty good job.
Really choppy.
Other than the FPS, this was a good submission.
